A few things

Tonight’s movements:

  • Dead hang clean 3x2 @ 65%
  • Power clean and split jerk 3x3 @ 65%
  • started at 35# with both, went up to 45#..next time I need to try to remember to up the weight on the power clean and jerk

WOD:

  • AMRAP 12
  • 10 power cleans (45#)
  • 30 double unders (90 singles)

3 full rounds, 10 power cleans and 30 singles.  Overall, I’m pretty proud of myself

Some thoughts I had today:

  • Why, when I see my hard work paying off do I start to de-rail myself?  Really need to figure this out.
  • I love the Olympics
  • I don’t know if I just want to see results or what, but when I changed into my gym clothes at work, I looked in the mirror and my “tire” didn’t seem to protrude as much.
  • Makes me want to take my measurements NOW but I will wait until Wednesday morning.
  • Not sure if I’m setting myself up for disappointment if I haven’t lost any inches and then the thought of shaping up is just all in my mind.  That won’t end well for me.
  • I love the Olympics
  • I can’t wait for the day when I can do a proper push up
  • I’m ready to be happy and enjoy what I do for a living…I’m just not sure how to make it happen
  • Really ready for an offer
  • I have been going non-stop for 1.5 weeks now with something to do every day/night and I’m excited for tomorrow when all I have to do is go to the grocery store…and cook food and do laundry.
  • Scratch that, I’m SUPER excited for Thursday.  90 minute massage.  Then sleep.  Ahhh.
  • Not super excited about changes going on at work
  • I love the Olympics
  • I love feeling strong and challenging myself…and surrounding myself with people that will challenge me
