So maybe it wasn’t my smartest decision but I went to CrossFit tonight.
Here is why I went:
•they are using tonight’s WOD as a benchmark for the PNC challenge
•it didn’t require weights, only your body
•I wanted to feel normal again (the fact that CrossFit is my new “normal” is a wee bit weird….awesomely weird)
•I missed working out
•I missed my box and the people
We did Cindy
AMRAP 20 minutes
5 pull ups (scaled to ring rows)
10 push ups (on a box)
15 air squats
I got 16 rounds.
I had to hold my back during the air squats occasionally and my arms were jello after but it felt great to be back at it for those 20 minutes.
For those 20 minutes, my back started to loosen up a bit, I could walk normally, it was great.
However I still came home and took my muscle relaxer, put on the bio freeze and am sleeping on a heating pad. Like I told my Dad, this isn’t my first time at the rodeo.
Also like my earlier posts showed, my iwod apparel shirts came in! I love in the back of the “I pr’d” shirt, they tell you to take a pic in it and put it on their Facebook wall.
Challenge accepted. :)
